Tornado on I-25 near Denver (CAUTION – Language)

My friend Eli Shayotovich and I were driving back from Daveco Liquors today after buying a TON of beer for future episodes of Beer Tap TV with friend Chipper Dave when we noticed people parked on both North and South bound sides of I-25, all of them looking East.  As we looked East we saw a small funnel cloud in the sky…further inspection revealed it had actually touched down and was tearing it up!!

This video made it to KRDO News 13 in Colorado Springs thanks to our friends Nina Sparano and Matt Meister and was on the 6:00 and 10:00 news.  Here is the video that we took.  CAREFUL, I drop a few expletives on the video, it was awesome!!

    This is great for a few reasons.
    1. I too witnessed a tornado outside of Denver Colorado, but mine was about 5 years ago. The best I could do was a few crappy still shots and a phone call. You got the whole thing on video.
    2. Whoever’s in the passenger seat has the wherewithal to keep announcing where to video can be seen on the qik site.
    3. Further validation that the world will continue to exist without a newspaper in every town.
    4. You were next to a fucking tornado!
